200 (200) 200 (200) 200 g Natur Uld from Hjertegarn 100 g = 100 m for ‘Color Block’ version. (where the entire ‘extra collar’ is made in a contrasting color). Both versions are made with two strands held together.
Double Collar Cowl is equal parts cowl and vest. It closes at the waist with Leather Snaps from Striksakken. It is chunky and warm with its double turtleneck. It is worked top down beginning with the short rib collar and finnished off with a rib edge and a long 'extra collar'. Wear together with 'Spændepandebånd' or 'Simple Chunky Beanie' from Striksakken. Note, the Double Collar Cowl is intended for outdoor use and the long 'extra collar' can be pulled up around the mouth and ears if necessary. The 'extra collar' can also be folded on both the inside and outside of the short collar and thus styled in different ways.
The long ‘extra collar’ can be made in following three versions:
Monochrome: where the entire 'extra collar' is made in the same color as the rest of the work.
With Stripe: where the bottom of the 'extra collar' is made with a contrasting color.
Color Block: where the entire 'extra collar' is made in a contrasting color. Scroll down for examples.
Note that this is a knitting pattern and NOT a readymade product.
