Halter Snap is a simple and practical halter top closed around the neck with a Leather Snap. Make it in wool, if to be used as a warm slip over layered on top of a t-shirt. For a “cooler” version consider using eg. cotton or linen with similar gauge. If knitted in wool, the inside of the collar touching the child's skin, can be made in a scratch-free yarn alternative with similar gauge. Halter Snap is worked top down. First, the collar is worked back and forth, before the yoke is constructed with increases. The body is worked in the round and finished off with a folded bottom edge.
