Tårnby Trøjen is a clean raglan sweater with a comfortable and flattering fit. It is worked top down in the round. First the collar and yoke are created with short rows in the neck. Subsequently the body and sleeves are made.

Recommended needles
Circular needles (80 cm / 31”) and circular needles (40 cm / 15.7”) / double pointed needles for the sleeves if not knitted with the magic-loop technique.
Needle size 4 mm / US 6 / UK 8 for stockinette stitch. 
Needle size 3 mm / US 3 / UK 11 for ribbing.

Gauge
20 stitches x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ in stockinette stitch on needle size 4 mm / US 6 / UK 8 after wash and block.
It is highly recommended to begin the project by making a swatch. A swatch will help determine the correct needle size. It is important to comply with the stated gauge, in order to achieve the intended fit.

Suggested yarn
One strand 250 (250) 250 (300) 300 g Jawoll from Lang Yarns (50g = ca. 210m) held together with one strand 125 (150) 150 (150) 175 g Alpaca Superlight from Lang Yarns (25g = ca. 199m).
- or equivalent yarn that makes your gauge fit.
