The Aarburg Bomber jacket is short with long sleeves and a large collar, which is either round, with "polo"-flaps, or long pointed flaps. It draws inspiration from both the 1940s and the 1990s and has two sleeve versions, either straight or with a small puff effect. It’s worked back and forth bottom up, starting with the body, front pieces and the back, which are then grafted together. Hereafter the button placket, collar and sleeves are worked.

Needle 3,5 / US 4 / UK 9 or 10 for ribbing.
Gauge 
18 stitches x approx. 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4“ in stockinette stitch on needle 4 / US 6 / UK 8 after wash and block.
Materials: 
400 (450) 450 (500) 550 g Merino 120 from Lang Yarns (50 g =approx. 120 m)
one strand knitted together with one strand of:
125 (150) 150 (175) 175 g Alpaca Superlight from Lang Yarns (50 g =approx. 199 m) Or equivalent yarn that makes your gauge fit.
