βCasual Snap Sweaterβ is a chunky, raglan-knitted sweater worked seamlessly from the top down. At the back neck, it features a small slit that can be closed with a leather choker from Striksakken, an i-cord tie, or a ribbon - depending on the finish you prefer. The closure is threaded through a drawstring casing created by sewing down the collar.
It is beginner friendly. Worked top-down with simple raglan increases. Body and sleeves are worked in the round in stockinette stitch. Finished with two rows of double knitting and Italian bind-off for an elastic, polished edge - New to knitting? You can skip the double knitting and Italian bind-off and simply work a traditional bind-off instead. No short rows, no tricky techniques - just a quick and enjoyable knit on US 9 (5.5 mm) needles, making it the perfect project for beginners and advanced beginners alike.
Please note that this is a knitting pattern and NOT a readymade garment.
