Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL
Gauge:16 stitches x 23 rows = 4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch.
Suggested Needles:
- US Size 9 (5.5mm): Circular needle (11in. / 28cm) or straight needle for the neck casing.
- US Size 9 (5.5mm): Circular needles (16in. / 40cm and 32in. / 80 cm) for stockinette stitch on body and sleeves.
- US Size 6 (4mm): Circular needles (16in. / 40cm and 32in. / 80 cm) for ribbed edges.
- US Size 6 (4mm): Helper needle for joining the slit bands.
- Optional: Double-pointed needles in US Size 9 (5.5 mm) and US Size 6 (4 mm) for sleeves if preferred.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Yarn Suggestion: Highland Fine Wool by Hjertegarn: 320 (360) 400 (440) 480 g, each skein 1.4 oz / 180 m (2 main strands)
Silk Kid Mohair: 75-100 (100) 100 (125) 150 g, each skein 0.88 oz / 210 m (companion strand); work all three strands together.
Note: In some sections of the pattern, only one main strand of the Highland Fine Wool is used.

The ‘Casual Snap Sweater’ is a chunky and elegant sweater with a short and boxy fit. It has a short slit at the back of the neck, which can be closed with
a Leather Choker from Striksakken, an I-cord, or a ribbon. The choker is threaded through a casing formed at the neckline.  The sweater is worked ‘top-down’, allowing you to try on the garment as you go, which can be helpful for adjusting the length of the body or sleeves.
