‘The 'Dress Shirt Vestedisse' is a slipover that closes at the sides with either the ‘Removable Snaps Mini’ the longer ‘Removable Leather Snaps’ or the ‘Sew-In Leather Snaps’ The removable snaps are mounted around the edge stitches, directly through the stitches. The sew-in snaps are mounted to the wrong side of the work at the waist, or wherever is most flattering. The 'Dress Shirt Vestedisse' has a loose fit and works perfectly over a dress shirt.
The front and back piece is finished off with a ribbed edge and has slanting shoulders constructed with short rows. Since the 'Dress Shirt Vestedisse' is worked top down, the length of the front and back can be easily adjusted.

Gauge: 15 stitches x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in stockinette stitch.
Needles: 5.5mm / US9 circular needles (60cm /24 in.) OR 5.5mm / US 9m straight needles for the back and front pieces. 5.0mm / US8 circular needle (60cm /24 in.) for the i-cord bind-off. All needle sizes are for guiding - make a gauge swatch before starting the project.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Recomended Yarn:  160 (160) 200 (200) 200 g of Highland Fine, 197 yards / 40 g (2 strands) together with 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 g of Kid Mohair, 230 yards / 25 g (1 strand). Both yarns are from Hjertegarn, and the three strands are held together.
