Sizes Kiddo sizes: 6 mos - 1 year (2 - 4) 5 - 7 years / Tween, Teen and Adult sizes: A (B) C (D) E (F) G (Refer to measurements in the chart when choosing sizes. All measurements are after wash and block).
Gauge: 15 stitches x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in Stockinette Stitch.
Needles: Circular needles 5.5mm / 60cm (US9 / 23in.) OR Jumper Needles 5.5mm (US9) for back- and front piece.
AND Circular needles 4mm / 60cm (US6 / 23in.) or double pointed needles 4mm (US6) for the collar.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Yarn: 80 (80) 80 g / 120 (120) 160 (160) 160 (160) 160 g Highland Fine 180m / 40g (2 strands) together with
25 (25) 25 g / 25-50 (50) 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 g Kid Mohair 210m / 25g (1 strand) both from Hjertegarn.
The 3 strands are held together.

‘Kaias Vestedisse’ is a slipover that closes by the sides with the removable Snaps Mini from Striksakken. For a looser fit choose the slightly longer Leather Saps. The snaps are mounted around the edge stitches by the waist or the placement most flattering for the user of the slipover. ‘Kaias Vestedisse' has a
tight fit without positive ease, for a more relaxed fit choosing a larger size is recommended.
For a permanently closed vest the sides can alternatively be sewn together on both sides. If the sides are sewn together, it is also recommended choosing a larger size - refer to measurements in the chart. It is worked top down in stockinette with short rows at the shoulders (except for the three ‘Kiddo Sizes’ where the short rows are left out). The back and front piece is finished off with a ribbed edge and italian bind off. Stitches are picked up by the neck opening where a collar is worked in twisted ribs. Since ‘Kaias Vestedisse’ is worked top down, the length of the front at back piece can be adjusted along the way.
